Fishing the Owyhee River,
Mike Raymondi

The Owyhee River is one of the best dry fly fisheries in the western United States. It is a tributary of the Snake River
located in northern Nevada, southwestern Idaho, and southeastern Oregon. It flows 280 miles through rugged spectacular canyonlands and ash flows.
Our speaker, Mike Raymondi, will discuss the fishery itself, what hatches to expect throughout the season, nymphing and dry fly techniques, what tippet size/leader to use, and general fly
selection.
Mike is a guide and works at Three Rivers Ranch Outfitters in Eagle. He has taught classes on basic fly fishing, advanced techniques, and casting for the past six years. Three Rivers
Ranch has been providing outstanding service to fly fishers since 1974 and is home to a premier fly fishing lodge in Warm River, Idaho, the first Orvis endorsed lodge. They have four
full-service fly shops throughout Idaho: Eagle, Driggs, Island Park, and Ashton.
